MEET TRACY KELLUM,
RHYTHM IN MOTION'S DIRECTOR
A professional Dance Instructor and Choreographer since 1992, Tracy has taught thousands of students how to dance. Accomplished in all American Smooth and Rhythm styles, she also specializes in West Coast Swing, Salsa, Hustle, Country and more.
Tracy has competed and performed in several regional shows and dance reviews. Through her creativity and choreographic talent she has produced and performed in several shows such as SWING!, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, A Tribute to Disney and Dirty Dancing. Many of these dance productions showcased the talents of her students.
Tracy was one of the original founders of the Cincinnati Independent Ballroom Teachers Association. This group developed the annual dance event, "Dancefest", which had a 13 year run. It showcased students and instructors from Tri-State Independent Studios.
Passionate about teaching, Tracy delights in bringing each new dancer to a level of success that enables them to feel confident and self-assured each time they approach the floor. She believes in teaching how to lead and follow, rather than just memorizing steps.
"In dancing, it is fundamental to be able to communicate with your partner without speaking. The language of dance is spoken through movement."
OUR STUDIO
As you enter the studio, the calming colors, beautiful wood floors, and mirror-lined walls will make you feel relaxed. There is a cozy seating area where you can visit with fellow dancers & watch the action on the dance floor during our practice parties.
